How Gyanrush works

Gyanrush is built around one idea: practise the exact syllabus you will be examined on, in the format you will be examined in, a little every day.

1. Pick your program

Choose your university, program and semester, then the courses you are taking. Gyanrush loads the syllabus for each course as units and topics, and the dates of your exams.

You do not need an account for this. Your progress is saved on your device, and you can sign in later with Google or your email to keep it on every device.

2. Run a topic, tier by tier

A run is seven questions on one topic. Questions climb five tiers, so you meet the easy version of an idea before the exam version.

  1. Tier 1, RecallCan you remember the fact or the definition?
  2. Tier 2, UnderstandCan you explain why it is true?
  3. Tier 3, ApplyCan you use it on a small case?
  4. Tier 4, AnalyseCan you compare cases or spot the trap?
  5. Tier 5, Exam levelCan you answer it the way the paper asks?

Stuck? Hints come in steps, from a nudge to the method. Every answer comes with an explanation, and many questions explain why each wrong option is wrong.

3. Reviews that come back on time

Questions you miss, and questions you got right a while ago, return in your daily quest right before you would forget them. Each day's quest is a few reviews plus a couple of new questions, so a streak takes minutes, not hours.

Clear a topic and its unit's boss wakes up: a timed round of mixed questions at the hardest tiers. Beat it with 70% or more to win the unit's trophy.

4. The Arena: your mock exam

The Arena builds a timed mock from your exam pattern: the same number of questions, the same marks and the same time limit as the multiple-choice part of your paper. There are no hints and no XP, just the clock.

When you finish you get your score and a review of every answer, so you know which topics to go back to before the real exam.

5. Zo, the study helper

Ask Zo about any topic in your courses. Zo answers from Gyanrush's own notes for your course and tells you which topic it used. If something is not covered, Zo says so instead of guessing. After a question, tap "Ask Zo why" to get the reasoning behind the answer.

Zo is an AI and can be wrong, so check important facts against your notes and teachers.
